Communications and Design Director
Gaël Evers joins Village Preservation as a Communications and Design Director with a focus on visual storytelling and strategic messaging. He studied media, communications, and marketing at Durban University of Technology, and over the course of his career has worked in freelance, in-house, and contract roles. Among his most significant achievements is his work with Alianza Americas, where he helped design bilingual toolkits, digital graphics, and print collateral to amplify the voices of migrant communities in the U.S. and Latin America. He also contributed to the “I Love My Immigrant Family” campaign, shaping visuals and messaging that underscored family unity and immigrant identity. Beyond advocacy work, Gaël has led creative campaigns for entities including Chelsea Piers, HLTH, Real Vision, and Payability; at NYU’s University Development and Alumni Relations he helped produce robust campaigns like the Alumni Awards, the One Day giving event, and the Pan Asia conference. At Village Preservation he plans to expand the organization’s presence via video and social media.
