Applications are now open to join your local community board, and it’s more important than ever that our boards include people who care about preservation and sound planning for our neighborhoods. Community Boards play an important advisory role on virtually all matters related to city services and policies as they apply locally, and an especially important role when it comes to land use, development, and preservation.

Community Boards are an appointed, volunteer position, and are considered the official “voice” of the community to City Hall and elected officials.
