Village Preservation’s 2023–2024 Annual Report Now Available

Our latest Annual Report is now available online, offering a glimpse into Village Preservation’s work, growth, and accomplishments over the last year. We’re incredibly proud of all we have done and all we do every day to educate the public and help promote and protect the very special architectural and cultural history of Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo.

That means everything from fighting to save historic buildings from demolition to promoting and supporting local independent small businesses and cultural institutions. It also means reaching and educating hundreds of thousands of young people and adults each year about the unique history connected to our neighborhoods, via in-person programs, online resources, and permanent installations including historic plaques.

As you’ll see, we’ve grown by leaps and bounds over the past year in terms of support and reach, but so have the challenges we face. As you’ll also see, by far the majority of our support comes from individuals like you, who love our neighborhoods and their irreplaceable history, and want to ensure they continue for future generations to appreciate and enjoy. You, too, can support our work.
