We’re Hiring Educators for Our Children’s Education Program

For more than 30 years, Village Preservation has conducted its first-of-its-kind children’s education program, designed to share with children how history can be understood and appreciated from the built environment around them. Offered to schools throughout the five boroughs regardless of ability to pay, the program has taught tens of thousands of children over the years about the lessons to be learned from what they see around them every day, and the experiences of a broad spectrum of New Yorkers over the centuries. The program has expanded over the years from teaching the basics about architecture and the built environment to curricula focused on immigration history in NYC and African American history.

Do you know a hands-on educator who is passionate about cultural and architectural history? Our Children’s Education program is hiring, and needs you!
