Helping Italians Settle in the South Village: The Role of Our Lady of Pompeii Parish

Celebrate New York City’s Immigrant Heritage Week with Village Preservation. Mary Elizabeth Brown, author of From Italian Villages to Greenwich Village and archivist of the Center for Migration Studies, will discuss the important role the Our Lady of Pompeii parish played in the lives of Italian Immigrants and the neighborhood of the South Village. Interact with the immigrant past as Dr. Brown showcases archival treasures from Our Lady of Pompeii.
