After 20 years, the Literary Pub Crawl knows that few neighborhoods have as varied and rich a history as Greenwich Village. Our neighborhoods have been home to revolutionaries, social agitators, labor movements, feminists and suffragists, jazz and blues music, painting, and debauchery. Join us for a “tour” of some of our favorite sites of poetic revelry in the Village. Hear the poems connected to each of the spots on this tour, from Edna St. Vincent Millay to Elizabeth Bishop to Frank O’Hara and many more, all of whom cemented the Village’s status as an epicenter of literary innovation. Go deep into these movements, locations, and figures, and lift a glass of whatever you’ve got at home along the way!

Literary Pub Crawl‘s in-depth knowledge and underground cult status have brought passion for history, literature, and drinking to the Village since 1998. Their Greenwich Village tour is the oldest continuously operating walking tour in the Village.
