Members Only $100+ Event: Fred W. McDarrah Exhibition Tour

The Voice of the Village: Fred W. McDarrah Photographs and PRIDE: Photographs of Stonewall and Beyond by Fred W. McDarrah examine the tumultuous 1960s to the dawn of the 1970s. Fred W. McDarrah was a curious, knowledgeable, and indefatigable visual chronicler, whose encyclopedic archive spans culture and politics from the Beats of the 1950s to the counterculture of the 1960s to the Stonewall uprising and major political events of the early 1970s.

Experience these exhibitions with a Museum of the City of New York educator, featuring iconic images of Allen Ginsberg and Bob Dylan, with a particular focus on the agitation for civil rights, anti–Vietnam War demonstrations, the initial Stonewall uprising, and the public faces of the LGBTQ rights movements of the Village.

This event is fully accessible.
