The City wants to demolish the beloved, historic Tony Dapolito Recreation Center. Named for a revered community leader who fought to preserve our community, the Center has served generations of New Yorkers with free and low-cost public recreational facilities. Closed for 5 years due to neglect and deferred maintenance, Mayor Adams just allocated $52 M for the center — but to demolish it rather than repair and reopen it! Join us in demanding that the city save our center!
