The Hunt: Greenwich Village Scavenger Hunt

Assemble your team and get ready to hunt and explore the heart of Greenwich Village! In this guided contest, match old photos with current locations, and discover where the past and present meet. Instructions will kick off the hunt and, when we meet back up, prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.

Urban Archive is a location-based mobile platform that holds many digital collections, including VP’s Historic Image Archive, which will be featured in this hunt. The app is built for discovery, and for empowering New Yorkers to learn about history where it happened.

The Hunt will be followed by beer, pizza, and pretzels at a special Hunt price, care of the Arts and Crafts Beer Parlor on West 8th Street.
