An apartment building designed by J.E. Terhune and built in 1884. Application is to alter the areaway and side facades, replace windows, and construct a roof bulkhead.

At the Landmarks Preservation Commission’s public hearing on January 18th, the Commission voted to approve the application with modifications.

Status as of January 10th, 2011:
At the Community Board 2 Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee public hearing on January 10th, the applicant presented plans that will be shown to the Landmarks Preservation Commission at its public hearing on January 18th. The application is to:

1) Add a standing-seam grey metal rooftop elevator bulkhead to the southeast corner of the roof
2) Fill in the existing air shafts that currently exist on the sides of the building and punch new windows in the infill
