APPLICATION STATUS:
Check  “Get Involved/Hearing Times” section below for scheduled CB2 and LPC hearing times and locations.

LATEST NEWS As of 7/17/12: The LPC voted to approve (with modifications) the application at today’s public meeting. They asked that the applicant work with staff to (1) set back the rooftop bulkhead so that it’s not flush with the rear elevation and (2) remove the 3rd floor portion of the rear addition. This application is now closed.

As of 7/13/12: The LPC is scheduled to hear a revised version of this application on Tuesday, July 17th.

As of 5/8/12: The LPC took a vote of no action at the May 8th public hearing. They felt the scale of the proposed rooftop and rear additions were too overwhelming for this building, and that the rear addition should not be full height or extend beyond its neighbors. They approve of the proposed alterations to the areaway rail. The LPC has asked the applicant to work on a scaled-down design to present at a future public meeting, date TBD.

As of 04/18/12: This application was heard at CB2 on April 16th. The LPC public hearing, originally scheduled for April 24th, has been laid over until May 8th. Public testimony is welcome at that time.

As of 04/10/12: This application is scheduled to be heard at Community Board 2 on April 16th. Public testimony welcome.
