CB Resolution Recommends:
A. Approval of the infill and signs, though not historic, are generally permitted in this section of Sixth Avenue; and
B. Approval of the cove lighting, though not historic, is not unsuitable to this section of Sixth Avenue.
Community Board 2 Meeting – January 16th, 2025
CB Resolution Recommends: Denial of the proposed industrial lighting fixture and that the application be laid over until the applicant has consulted with Commission staff and presents a more suitable design or that the application be modified to eliminate lighting for the signs.
Community Board 2 Meeting – December 16th, 2024
CB Resolution Recommends:
A) Approval of the infill and signs; and
B) That the applicant return for a public hearing before the CB2 Landmarks Committee about the important matter of exterior lighting, especially in view of the grossly unsuitable lighting previously installed by the applicant, and that the application not be heard by the Landmarks Commission until this has been presented for review and a recommendation made.
