This five-story loft building, with a later one-story rooftop addition, was constructed in 1888 by David and John Jardine. The architects also designed the landmarked former Van Tassel & Kearney Horse Auction Mart next door. A cast-iron base adorns the building, which is designed in the Romanesque Revival style.
