Our recently released report shows the abject failures and broken promises of the SoHo/NoHo Rezoning, which the City said would require all new construction to include affordable housing and protect existing affordable housing. So far, exactly as we predicted, the rezoning has done the opposite. This is so important to highlight, not just as an “I-told-you-so” moment, but because the City wants to double down on this failed approach, and spread it throughout Manhattan and other neighborhoods as well.
