Three Big NoHo Projects and Other Landmarks Applications Before Community Board Next Week

Next week, three very big projects in NoHo will come before the Community Board 2 Landmarks Committee for public hearings on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with several other smaller but still important projects also being heard on Wednesday and Thursday. These include:
- Plans for a 19-story, more than 195-ft.-tall development on the site of a parking lot at 375 Lafayette Street at Great Jones Street in the NoHo Historic District Extension will be heard on Monday, February 9 at 5:30 pm (this is the only agenda item) — more info + register to attend or testify HERE.
- Plans for demolition of a one-story garage building, and construction of a nine-story, 105-ft.-tall building at 27 East 4th Street, next door to the Merchant’s House Museum within the NoHo Historic District Extension, will be heard at a meeting on Wednesday, February 11 beginning at 5:30 pm (there are multiple agenda items)— more info + register to attend or testify HERE.
- Plans for a 25-story, more than 275-ft.-tall development at 56 Great Jones Street (at the Bowery), outside the bounds of any landmarked district but cantilevering over part of an adjacent building within the NoHo Historic District Extension at 354 Bowery (only the cantilever requires landmarks approval), will be heard at a meeting on Thursday, February 12 beginning at 5:30 pm (there are multiple agenda items) — more info + register to attend or testify HERE.
