This year’s election includes several proposals to revise the New York City Charter. Village Preservation is recommending you VOTE NO on Ballot Questions 2-4.

In addition to the opportunity to vote for Mayor, Comptroller, City Council, and other key local offices, this year’s ballot includes three questions placed by Mayor Adams that would forever change the NYC Charter or Constitution, and the way decision-making happens in our city. Disguised as “affordable housing” measures, these changes would actually be deeply harmful to affordability, as well as democracy and healthy neighborhoods.
