Co-Sponsored by The Bitter End
Village Preservation is pleased to partner with musician and author Richard Barone for his revitalized new series, “Village Nights,” coming to the Bitter End nightclub with four unique events in 2026. Each event will focus on a specific decade of the Village’s musical history, featuring legendary musical guests and panel discussions with noted journalists, authors, and historians.
The second installment of this series features Eric Andersen’s voice, songs, guitar, and piano playing, which have created a career spanning over 45 years. He has recorded 25 albums of original songs and made numerous tours of North America, Europe, and Japan.
His songs have been recorded and performed by world-renowned artists such as Ricky Nelson, Judy Collins, Sandy Denny, Fairport Convention, The Kingston Trio, Peter Paul and Mary, Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Cash, The Grateful Dead, Linda Thompson, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Francoise Hardy, among many others in Europe, Australia, England, and Japan.
Andersen’s latest studio album, Dance of Love and Death (2025), features 17 new original songs. Released in October 2025, it marks his first album of new studio material since 2003 and features contributions from artists including Lenny Kaye, Larry Campbell, and Joyce Andersen.
