Village Preservation was able to get this perfectly intact 1834 federal style rowhouse, which was individually landmarked in 1966, landmarked along with dozens of surrounding buildings as part of the Greenwich Village Historic District Extension we proposed and fought for in 2006. In 2022 VP also successfully fought off approvals for an application to drastically alter the house and rear carriage house, the former residence of photographer Diane Arbus.
