Inscribed to Antonio Demo, pastor of Our Lady of Pompei parish. Giacomo Luigi’s son, Giacomo (James) Domenico Pattarini, was born in Piacenza in 1850. He married Giuseppina Maria Teresa (Josephine) Fagnola, who was also born in Piacenza. They had Daniel Michael in Italy in 1887. Then they moved to the United States; she died in Ulster County, New York, and he died in New Jersey. Daniel Michael married Louisa Paganini. They had three sons, one born after this family photo. The older one in the photo, Daniel Michael Junior, was educated as a mechanical engineer, served in the Navy, made his career at Curtis Wright Flow Control, and resided in Glen Cove, New York. He died around May 3, 2015, with three patents for parts of nuclear submarines to his name. The younger, Caesar Benito (“Pat”) Pattarini, was born October 31, 1922, educated at the Cooper Union, and made a career at the Port Authority. He died October 23, 2002.
