Globally Acclaimed Soprano
With her glorious voice, Price shattered glass ceilings as one of the world’s first Black opera superstars.

Price has had a long and sensational career that has taken her all over the globe but she made her home here in Greenwich Village, buying a house at 9 Vandam Street in 1956.
