Jackson Pollock
January 28, 1912 – August 11, 1956

Abstract Expressionist and Action Painter
Pollock was a founder of Abstract Expressionism and developer of the unusual “drip painting” technique.

Pollock lived at 49 East 10th Street as a young art student. He also lived at 46 Carmine Street in the 1940s.
