A revolutionary artist who transformed modern dance, Graham created a unique vocabulary of movement and innovative technique that continues to resonate and influence worldwide.

Graham had a studio at 66 Fifth Avenue throughout the 1930s and 1940s. The company that she founded in 1926 has recently returned to the Village and is now located at 55 Bethune Street in Westbeth.
