Village Preservation’s highly acclaimed continuing education classes are available online this Fall!
Sign up now to reserve a spot: whether you’re a real estate professional seeking required NYS continuing education credit, or you’re just a history lover who wants to learn more about preservation, planning, and development in our city, with a special focus on our neighborhoods. Leading experts guide our remote learning lessons via Zoom, including virtual walking tours on historic preservation, the NYC Landmarks Law, practical tips for brokers, the stylistic development of townhouses, apartment buildings, and tenements, the evolution of regulatory reforms and zoning laws that shaped urban design and building types, and much more! The course is offered at a discounted rate to Village Preservation members and to those who are not seeking course credit certifications.
The course runs 22.5 hours and fulfills the required 3 hours of fair housing instruction and 1 hour of agency law. Each day classes run for a total of 3 to 4 hours each day, on November 17 and 19, and December 1, 3, 8, and 10, between approx. 9:30 am and 2 pm.
