Nominations for 2024 Village Awards Open Until March 11; Ceremony June 12

Nominations are open through March 11 for the 2024 Annual Village Awards. Called “the Oscars of the Village,” these awards showcase the small businesses, local institutions, and outstanding individuals and organizations, and places that have made a significant contribution to the special quality of life in Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo.

The awards will be presented at a public ceremony as part of Village Preservation’s annual meeting on June 12 at the Cooper Union’s Great Hall, where we’ll be joined by musician, producer, and music historian Lenny Kaye as our awards emcee!

Because of the large number of nominations we receive, it often takes several years of nominations to be selected as an awardee. So don’t lose heart if your favorite isn’t chosen this year, and feel free to nominate anyone not chosen in prior years — not making the final cut one year doesn’t mean it won’t the next!

Note: Past awardees, employees or trustees of Village Preservation, and entities located outside of Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo are not eligible.
