State Senate and Assembly Candidate Questionnaires Shed Light on Preservation Positions

We have upcoming primary elections for the 66th Assembly District, currently represented by retiring Assemblymember Deborah Glick, and for the 27th State Senate District covering most of Manhattan below 14th Street, currently represented by retiring State Senator Brian Kavanagh. These offices play an incredibly important role in representing our neighborhoods in Albany, as well as providing leadership on a whole range of critical local issues. Village Preservation has distributed a questionnaire on preservation and related issues to all candidates for these offices, to help you understand their positions, records, and perspectives on these issues.
Primary Election Day is June 23, while early voting runs from June 13th to the 21st — starting just two weeks from this Saturday!
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Village Preservation cannot and does not endorse or recommend candidates for office.
