Webster Hall, 119-125 East 11th Street. Webster Hall was designed by Charles Rentz, Jr. in the Queen Anne style in 1886 with an annex from 1892. As a gathering spot for nearly a century and a half, it has been the scene of an extraordinary array of history in terms of left-wing, progressive, and labor organizing; early LGBTQ+ gatherings; and musical recordings and performances.
